A student certificate can be issued to every person who, as of today, is a student in regular, extramural or distant form regardless of the academic degree - bachelor, master, professorship or doctoral studies.

It is recommendable that the certificate is filled in based on the sample of your university. In order to be valid a certificate should get an incoming number, seal and signature of the faculty of your university. You have to be preliminary familair with the name of the institution for which the document is designated becuase if you don't have the specific name you may not get certification from the university.

The student certificate can be requested when you apply for student's hostels, starting a new job, getting discount of the prices or for the issue of a personalized document with discounts.

You fill in the form and receive the certificate for free and you don't have to pay fees for its issue from the education institution. Please, bear in mind that some universities have restrictions for the documents the issue for the ongoing semester.

Step Required by you
In order to legalize a Student Certificate you need the original. It should have a date, outgoing number, signature and seal of the higher education institute issuing it. You should state the institution it is intended for.

The Student certificate should first be submitted to the National Centre for Information and Documentation for an apostille placement. The time for which the document should stay in this institution depends on the order: 5 business days, 2 business days and 1 business day.

After it is received from National Centre for Information and Documentation, the certificate should be translated, printed out in a company form, signed by a sworn translator and a wet seal should be affixed.

Afterwards it should get an incoming number provided by the Consular Department to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You should pay a state fee and its amount depends on the term of execution which is most convenient for you.The terms are as follows: ordinary (4 business days); quick (2 business days) and express (1 business day).
