Arabic language
The Arabic is a Semitic language spoken by about 225 000 000 people in the Middle East and North Africa. The earliest preserved texts of the ancient North Arabic language date back to 8 century B.C. and they use the South Arabic alphabet which is not related to the contemporary alphabet. The contemporary literary form of the Arabic language is called standard Arabic language.
