Polish language
The Polish language is an official language in Republic of Poland and is used by almost 40 million people. The oldest example of written Polish is one sentence, written by a Czech, talking to his Polish wife, registered by a German monk in a Latin text - this is the history of the Cistercian abbey in the region of Lower SIlesia. It appears in the registers, describing the year of 1270 and is written like Day ut ia pobrusa, a ti poziwai.
