Latvian language
The Latvian is one of the two survived Eastern Baltic languages of the Indo-European family. Unlike the Lithianian, the Latvian language has preserved a lot of its archaic forms. The researches show that the Baltic languages form a separate branch from the other Indo-European languages since the X century B.C. The Eastern Baltic languages were separated from the Western ones (or just from the Baltic one) around V century A.C.
The neutral gender is missing. There are two address forms: formal and informal. For example, tu (you) in case of a kind adrdress turns into jūs.
