Macedonian language
This is a South-Slavic language, spread not only locally: lots of Turks, Gypsy people, Vlachs and Albanians speak it. From the existing Slavic languages it is considered the youngest language. The linguists point out its similarity with the other language of the same group - Bulgarian. The Macedonian alphabet has been created based on the Serbian cyrillic alphabet in 1944 г and it includes 31 letters. Its status of an independent language is controversial and some linguists consider it a regional form of the Bulgarian language.
